Star Stitch Mug Hug

I plan to write up a pattern for the Star Stitch Mug Hug, but for now, let share with you some of the basic steps.

I use the magic loop for starting my Hugs. Once you get the hang of it, it is easy to use. I'm never going back to making loops with chains.

After the bottom is completed, start on the star stitch rows. Begin by pulling up a loop in the next three stiches

Nirvana has arrived

I have declared this new yoga sock pattern to be "heaven for your feet." These are so different from the other patterns I've created, because the lace runs all the way down the front of your foot. However, the sole of the foot is solid for comfort and support.

Now, before you complain, I already know these are like the world's worst photos. But I was so excited to share with you that I'm posting them anyway.

New yoga sock pattern

What's on Your Hook Today

I've been trying to work up a new pattern for my yoga socks. I dig out stitch pattern books and scour the pages. I practice stitches on swatches, then I try to make them fit a foot. That's a lot harder than you think. If my original pattern uses 42 stitches around, you would think all patterns would do so. For some reason that logic doesn't work. A lot of frogging gets done before I find what works. Here is my latest attempt.
