Getting to Know Tupper's Perch

Cozy Corner Crochets had the opportunity to interview the owner of Tupper's Perch. I think you will enjoy the responses. Take time to check out the links.

Cozy Corner Crochets: What are the names and addresses of your Pages, Blogs, and/or Shops

Tupper's Perch: I named the shop after our house and home:

Tupper's Perch
"A safe place to come home to."

CCC: What is your primary craft?

TP: There isn't much I DON'T do. I always answer when asked---I don't so stained glass though I tried it one time. It didn't stick. My sewing skills are way above average though I don't do as much as I used to do. I was a fashion design major. These days it's needle arts---felting and knitting and sewing. I dabble in lamp work glass and am heavy into pottery and beading this year. I also make soaps and lotions.

Nirvana has arrived

I have declared this new yoga sock pattern to be "heaven for your feet." These are so different from the other patterns I've created, because the lace runs all the way down the front of your foot. However, the sole of the foot is solid for comfort and support.

Now, before you complain, I already know these are like the world's worst photos. But I was so excited to share with you that I'm posting them anyway.

Kool-Aid and Baseball

The yarn dyeing party was so much fun on Saturday. Only a couple of women showed up, but that meant we had the kitchen to ourselves. We all chose to do stovetop dyeing. The first yarn to be dyed was some worsted weight wool using lemon-lime. It was a straightforward, single color dye job, and it came out looking very nice.
